I didn’t know Pat passed away over 4 year ago until today! I was shocked and sad.
My name is Long, a Vietnamese national! I met Pat on her Vietnamese non profit mission. We became great friends. She is such a great, hospitality woman! We hung out and had lot of fun. She even let me stay in her house in Hanoi when I went there for my US visa interview.
Over the past 4 years, I tried to email Pat, but somehow those emails kept coming back to me. Now I believe her email account got deactivated. Until today, I have activated my Skype account in order to message her to ask how she’s been. To my shocking, she’s passed away almost 4 years ago. Pat didn’t use Facebook, which I’m on most of the time. So we didn’t stay informed as much as we should.
I always wanted to send a gift to England to Pat or pay her a visit, or buy her the airfare to visit me her in USA.
The last time we spoke on Skype was February 2019. She told me about her renovated condo/ house in Marloca, Spain! She seems normal and healthy. But I guess things went downhill fast.
I can’t visit you in England anymore.
May you be in peace in Haven!
Love you, Pat

Today I went to visit the woodland site where we laid Pat's body to rest almost a year ago. It was peaceful with just the birdsong the rustling of the leaves. You left a part of yourself in the hearts of many of us all grateful to have known you. God bless. xx

Pat is was and will, be even after her death, a free spirit, a giving person, a very loving person, and very modest. Throughout her life, she gave and gave and gave through a point of depletion and most likely thatàs why she died so early. The others always matter to her. More than that, when she had a challenge like cancer she fought it head on relentlessly until she won and a victory helped thousand of others to recover from cancer as well because she shared her victory step by step.
