My dearest Pat I find myself drafting and deleting as I write this because no words can actually begin to describe what you mean to me, and will always mean to me. I am glad our paths crossed all those years back. You have been more than a colleague. You have been a friend and a mentor and a parent. During my darkest days, I have found myself talking to you in my head. I have shared my little victories with you in my mind too.
