From Chris Wolley - Gemini Skipper (retired) 6th September 2019

Dear Frank I am so very very sorry to hear that Pat has died. Pat was an inspirational person who had the drive and vitality to get things done. We all learnt much from her and she has left a wonderful legacy which we will remember her by. I have only the happiest memories of sailing with Pat on our Gemini voyages and whilst we all learnt so much from her on how to look after our Gemini crew Pat was always pleased to listen to what the skippers had to say. Those very happy memories mean a great deal to me and Pat will be sadly missed. It is with great regret that I will not be able to attend the funeral as I shall be abroad on 17th September. I would certainly have come if I were in the uk, please accept my apologies. I know there will be so many people there to celebrate Pat's life and I wish you all well. The Tribute to Pat is a wonderful document and reflects how loved she was. Pat clearly had a huge influence on so many lives and brought great joy and understanding to so many people. Frank yours is a very great loss and words are not much good at a time like this; but please know that my thoughts are with you. yours sincerely Chris Wolley Gemini skipper (retired)
