Dearest Frank, that is the saddest of news. We hadn't realised Pat had been ill and we are so sorry we weren't there for you both. It is a real shock as when we last saw you she was her bubbly and positive self and looking so well. But then it was a while back. Please give her a loving hug from us and tell her that our friendship has truly enriched our lives and meant a lot. We are sorry we have not been present lately but we very often think of you both and cherish so many memories of our times together. We hope she is not in too much pain and that she finds peace in her final days. Please do let us know if there is anything at all we can do for either of you. With our love to you both.
